Hi

I know that when implementing Google Analytics for a specific website, you have to add a javascript to each page.

But at work we have created a website software, where different customers have their own unique website. Think it may create chaos to have control over each individual javascript for each and every customer. This is specially important when deploying new releases of the website software. When deploying new version of the website software it's easy to loose track of what javascript is used for a specific customer etc.

Wonder if it's possible to put that javascript in a file (.js file) and then just link to that javascript file from the code. In that way we keep the source code for all client installastions the same. Not sure if this is doable.

Any suggestions?

    I think it's possible.

    Why don't you try it.
But you'll have to change the account Id in each .js file anyway.

Try Google Analytics its really gives better results as we come to the behavior of visitors on our site. I think it needs ga.js code and plus java code...Just check it out from Google Adwords Customer.
