Just want to make sure I got this right. If my keyword is a phrase of three words, lets say it is "one two three" the I count how many times the "phrase" is used in the article right?

So if my keyword phrase appears 4 times and the article has 400 words then my keyword density is 1% correct?

  • Correct. Keep in mind, however, that keyword density doesn't do much for SEO anymore.
