Advertising Affiliate Programs in Google Using PPC

Hey does anyone run PPC campaigns on Google anymore? If you could do it all over again how would you set up PPC campaigns in Google. Quite frankly I'm VERY apprehensive about doing ANYTHING with Google, I perused their "support" pages and my gosh they certainly aren't friendly to affiliate marketers with all of the hoops you have to jump thru now just to advertise an affiliate product (I mean you have to practically re-invent the wheel for any affiliate product you want to advertise!) All I wanna do is make some extra money advertising thru PPC until I don't have to use that medium anymore but quite frankly, I'm almost turned off by Google! Any suggestions, thoughts, musings?

    Just create your own landing page on your own domain with your own content/pre-sell and most of those pesky Google problems simply go away.

    I don't recommend you direct link your PPC campaigns to the product site.

    You should create your own blogs / landing pages and direct the PPC traffic to them.
