Obviously Do-Follow links are better than No-Follow links, but is there some sort of scale? Like a PR4 No-Follow is as valuable as a PR2 Do-Follow link?

**Assuming relevancy and anchor text is the same, etc.

I tried some monitoring plugins and found that the nofollows really gives zero PageRank spread, but they may still flow some organic traffics aren't they?

A link is still a link. Regardless if it's dofollow or nofollow...

Place more of your emphasis on do follow, but definitely don't run away from no follows. They matter too.

I don't think you can really scale that... And what would that help you with? Get any link you can... a no follow PR4 and the do follow PR2... that would be the best.

You can call a link nofollow, but you can't call a link do follow.
There is no such thing, and google does not see a link just because
you think you can force it to.

It depends on what you want the link for.
A link on a PR2 site, if not nofollow, may be good for PR.
Maybe. You can't force google to count anything, even though many
      here believe you can.

There is no magic in not using nofollow. Many, many links will just not
      be counted.

A nofollow link on a PR4 site adds to the footprint, traffic, authority, etc.
It adds all this by making your presence known in a larger format. That leads
to people seeing your site. That could lead to more people linking to you.
Which, in turn, adds to your authority.

The true measure of how valuable the backlink is, is to measure how valuable
the site linking is. Nofollow or not.

BTW: Anchor text is a non-issue with a nofollow link.

As per my experience do follow links on PR 2 page is always better than nofollow links on PR 4 page... mostly in the case of google..other search engines like yahoo and bing can count nofollow links as well but google not..

I think the biggest point is that you shouldn't actively avoid nofollow links. If you're building links the right way, nofollow links are inevitable, and having them shows that you're building links naturally - instead of buying or trading for links.
