What is the best backlink checker?

Recently I used iwebtool and backlinkwatch to see the other websites' back links. But I realized that most times iwebtool backlink checker doesn't work

What do you use to check your backlinks? What is the best tool out there??

  • That is one of the great features of Scrapebox. It does a lot more, and I would recommend it because the price is so low for the features it offers.

    Not to sound like a commercial, but it truly is a great product.

  • I prefer to use yahoo myself. From all the backlink checkers I have found, I think Yahoo shoes the most links out of all of them.
  • Yahoo search explorer and backlinkwatch , both are fine to me.

    • I use these two as well ... to check my own and competition as well.

      Backlinkwatch show no follow sites so if I am trying to piggy back on someone elses backlinks I know which sites to avoid

  • Yes, Yahoo does the job, you can try software like keyword seo elite but it isn't worth and gets data from Yahoo.
    So, go to yahoo site explorer.
  • The best way to check backlinks is using Yahoo Site Explorer (siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com). It's free and offers much better data than Google.
  • I suggest use SEOcentro.C0m or Use a browser plugins like SEOpen.

  • At the moment I use trial version of Market Samurai, I think it works great! I can see with it all my backlinks, not as with many online offered backlink checkers, but the bad thing is that this option is available just in the period of trial, later there will stay just keyword researcher. But for me those 12 days also did helped a lot to understand how all those backlinks work!And of course yahoo site explorer is another very good option!
