AdWords for Clients Guide???

I've used AdWords for a few of my own sites but I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a guide (printed book or digital) that talks about AdWords from the perspective of managing an adwords account for a client.

Here's a simple example question I'd have...

Let's say you are writing ad copy for a client who is an accountant. Do you run the text of each possible ad by the client first to make sure that's the message the client wants to send....or do you have the clients write the headline to make sure it's something the client likes (which is impossible from a time and management perspective)?

Thank you.

Since adwords is trial and error, and you are the pro, it's really up to
you to come up with ad copy, in conjunction with the client. The client
gives you wants/needs, and you turn that into ad copy.

It's not really about what the client wants. It's about what will get
    cliks and improve QS.

If the client insists on one thing, and it does not work, then what?

Better for you to explain you will take ideas, and test, test, test, then
    run by them what works.

Unless of course, they have a bottomless bank account. Then it does not
    matter.

    I echo what Paul says.

I've had some clients who wanted to see my ads before making them live. But they were few and usually that didn't last long. As Paul says, they are hiring you to do this because they know they can't themselves or don't want to.
