Hi,



I have created another FREE backlink building tool:
IMT Directory Submitter

This directory submitter is not a bot, it is semi-automatic online tool and it will help you submit your website to 2000+ SEO friendly directories.

It is very fast and easy to use, it fills up all required fields for you and preselects category, all you need to do is click the "Submit" button (you have instructions there also), although the quality is like manual submission.

This tool will help you boost your website rankings in search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing for your main keywords and eventually can help your website to get to the first page of Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Directory submission is a long term process, one can't expect to see results in a few days.
When building links you need to get as many different backlinks from as many different websites and IP's as possible. You need to diversify your incoming links from as much diferent services as possible. You should not use just one tactic when building links, (article submission, blog commenting, directory submission or what ever), the main key to sucessfull backlink campaign is natural appearance of backlinks and natural don't mean backlinks from one service or one type of websites and all done in one go or in one single day.

Conclusion is that you can't expect that only one linkbuilding tactic will give you top 3 or top 5 or what ever google rankings. So you can't expect that directory submission alone will bring your website to the top of the google for your keywords. If you expect that then you are in the wrong place.

SEO needs planning, time, work and testing this is not something you can get done overnight!

    One question. When we get a confirmation link for our email from the directory, do we have to also fill out the submissions in that page ? It is not clear:

    • Some directories will send confirmation mail, some will just send welcome mail and some don't even send emails.
      In emails that have confirmation links you only need to click them (or copy past in the browser address bar) to confirm your directory submission, no need to do anything else.

    Also take the time to find out in what category your competition or similar websites is ALREADY listed, so you can save time on category errors.

      1. Dirs with no Captcha and google PR Descending (PR6->PR0)
      2. Dirs with no Captcha and google PR Ascending(PR0->PR6)

      3. Dirs with Captcha and google PR Descending(PR6->PR0)
      4. Dirs with Captcha and google PR Ascending(PR0->PR6)

    "- The URL could not be validated. Either the page does not exist or the server cound not be contacted."

    then don't skip that directory, just try to submit it one more time.
    That way your submission success rate will better.

  • OK, I found your error,
    When you entered the keywords for cats you left one coma at the end, like this
    keyword1, keyword2,

    and this last coma is too much, script expect some keyword after coma and get nothing, so thats way you get wraning/error

    I have fixed this for you and now it is working, you can continue to submit...

    Very cool tool.

    However, seems as if no provision is made for having multiple titles and descriptions for each website as obtainable on most of such tools.

  • Why there so many negative reactions with your tool? Is this method are accurate as i observed their reactions to your site its a down but then I've decided to go on manually submission process. I'm not against with it just saving my time.

  • One suggestion very much needed.

    When you have more than one website, when you are on Submiting, it should tell you what website of your own you actually submit. After selecting it, just put a tag on top right .... Just to be sure ...

      Actualy if you fill keywords for categories right, the categories will be auto selected.
      In the next version I will add most common categories, so you will be able to select yours and also enter keywords for other/optional cats (this option is now supported)


      What error do you get?
      Just fill all the fields and register. Use Firefox, if you already registered and can't get confirmation mail, then please tell me your username and I'll see what I can do.

  • Well i am not use this semi-automatic directory submitter tool,i usually use manual submission to get back links to website.i must use this tool to get more back links to my website, if it is not black hat technique,and not penalize by Google.

  • Some feedback. After submitting to around 200 directories, until now i got only ONE approved. Maybe needs more time, i dunno.

    Issue(bug) with the categories has been solved finaly...you will no longer see these ugly errors.


    Some news about the tool:
    - New and better way of category preselection has been added to the tool, you can check this out by editing existing or adding new website!

    Now you just select category from the drop down menu and click "Add Cat" button to add selected category to the "Category List" below and that's it. You also can fill "Category List" by yourself.

    - Also few little bugs and user requested changes where made.

  • I just want to share few interesting facts about this tool that I have extracted from my database and my logs.

    In last 6-7 days since this tool is online it has made:
    17.000+ successful directory submissions
    for 400+ urls


    Now I'm in process of adding new directories
    Will update PR of each directory
    Dirs with very high unsuccessful submission rates will be removed
    will report when this is done

    • I have used the tool for 250-300 submits so far. I started a week ago.

      I got 2 denied, and three accepted. The rest no news. Yet.
    • For now skips are gone for particular url you submit.
      I will make option that you can try resubmit skipped directories.

      It realy depends on the admin of certain directory.
      It can be few days or few weeks...

    Most say that this or that has no weight for search engines, but if we knew exactly what se want, we would all rank.

  • As far as my knowledge goes, this won't create backlinks, it'll only submit your links to several places, which will attract google spiders!

    - All directories where analyzed for subsmission performance and about 200+ low performing directories where removed from this tool
    - About 500+ new Directories added to this tool, so there is now 2100+ supported directories
    - Small bugs removed
    - Updated PR of direcotries and this is Google PR breakdown now:
    PR6 - 9
    PR5 - 34
    PR4 - 105
    PR3 - 193
    PR2 - 279
    PR1 - 232

    To do:

      It depends only on admin of that particular directory if he will approve or deny your submissions. I'm still getting my approval messages 3.5 months after submissions.

      Acceptance rate really depends on few factors:
      - Quality of the websites you submiting
      - Title
      - Choosen category
      - Directory admin
      - etc.

      BTW, I think that you need to do at least 20-50 successful submissions per day until you have done all 2100+, but it realy depends on your site age and backlinks it already have.

  • I have used this and I can say that it works, it works beautifully BUT it's really tedious. 2 things that can be improve upon:
    1. Connect to Decaptcher this is seriously needed.
    2. Better category detection, the bulk of the work is to put the site into the right category, it is important to do this but it is also tedious in this software.

    Other than those two, this has worked great, really great!

      1) This is something that will be buit in this tool and as you said it is mandatory.
      2) This was my mistake, now it works much, much better, read more about this below:


      I was testing something a week ago and forgot to undo some changes, so category preselection didn't work right, it always selected last from the list of your entered categories, basically tool ignored all entered categories but last.
      Now I found that bug and category preselection is finaly working now... :-)

      This is how it works:
      Select category from the drop down menu and click "Add Cat" button to add selected category to the "Category List" below.
      First add subcategories then main(general) category or categories, because tool will try to find first category from the list, then second, third, etc... You can also fill "Category List" by yourself.

      These are all free directories, they have paid featured listing options, but they are all free.

      Furthermore they are not asking you $ for inclusion into directory,
      they are offering directory submission service in their welcome or confirmation mails.
      Also some maybe offering featured listing in their dirs, etc., but they are nor asking you for payment to include your website into the dir.

      I removed another 100 direcotries with all kind of errors from this tools.
      Submission process is now even smoother.

  • It crashed on me mid-way through the submission process. My browser (chrome) reported a phising site, when I clicked to ignore the message, it crashed.

      sending confirmation email is the directories' responsibility not the tool's.
      2 things can be happening here:
      1. You put the wrong email address.

    • In this tool there are only free directories with no reciprocal links needed.
      So you don't have to pay or have link back to that dir in order to submit to dir and get listed if approved.

    A short question: if my domain is fairly new and only have a few backlinks from WF (my signature) when I checked with Yahoo SiteExplorer. Do you recommend me to submit my websites to all those free directories? If so, is it still 20-50 per day and continue until my site is submitted to 2100+ directories?

    • Yes you should be fine with 20 submissions a day, then after 10 days you can take a break for about week, then submit 30 per day for about week, then one week break, then 40 a day, etc... until you submit to all 2100+ dirs.

      - This field must have minimum 4 characters and maximum 50 characters.


      What does this indicate I'm doing wrong?

      This happens 75% of the time I click "Submit" after choosing the correct category for each site.

      I have submitted 40+ times, but attempted to do at least 120.

  • I think that you are confusing IMT Directory Submitter with IMT Website Submitter.
    IMT Website Submitter creates pages with link pointing back to your website, then it pings each created page.

    Great tool, but one question - if i do say 30 links one day, the next time i use it does it automatically start from where i left off? IN other words does it keep track of the last link i subscribed to. I mean, if i get through say 500 links, in a week or 2 then have a break and come back to it do i have to go through the first 500 again or not?

  • Rad tool! Thx! I used to have a good page rank, but then trusted my site to a "pro" and next think I new, I went from #1 to #5-9. And even better.... the guy I paid to maintain what I built for free with my own sweat, blamed "the bad economy" for my site dropping! LOL!

      Thanks for your post about paid dir, it wil be removed, I can't track all dirs, so sometimes owners of dirs turn free dirs to paid dirs, when you spot something like this, just notify me and I will remove that dir from the tool.

      But don't just stop on directory submission, you need to mix your link building tactics to see some real results.

  • Wow this thing is pretty darn slick! Nice work. Not far into my first submissions but it's looking great up to this point.
  • The tool didn't work to good for me. Once I got my site added and started submitting, I got 12 submitted, before a problem occurred. The drop down box to choose a category was blank. I tried moving to the next set of directories, same problem. I then tried the set of captcha directories and the captcha image shows a red x. I'll keep trying but so far that's been my luck.

    We have moved to a new private server, with much faster node and hardware, so submission process is now even smoother...

    I have tested directory submitter and it is working fine(we had some smaller issues), but if you run into some problems don't hesitate to ask.

    If you only want to do say 250 and not the lot at one time- how can you go back and not do the SAME 250 2 weeks later?
    There doesn't seem to be a way to get a submission to a different lot rather the same again.
    So It appears you Have to submit to the total lot at one time to get seen at all the sites.
    Am I Wrong?

      so there is no need to submit again.

  • While i would like to thank for the free tool, here are the results for my two websites:

    I have been used the tool from day1, submitted 20-30 daily for a 3 years old website and a 6 months old website.

    The "acceptance" ratio is very low, around 100 directories for the first and around 40 for the second.

    Also there are a lot of dead directories that should be cleaned, the real number is not 2000 but around 1400.

    • I have explained this many times before that acceptance rate depends on many factors...
      100+ backlinks maybe don't look as much, but if you get 100 here and 100 there then it will be very good, in my book 100 free backlinks are great.

      for 4500+ domains.


      You need to add more categories, try to add more broad categories also.

  • Manual submission has always been the best option..how about directories that require reciprocal links, image codes and so on..how would this tool be able to handle that??..well I will give it a try and see how it goes....result result result, that's all matters

  • Directory submission is basically the method you ask Google to recognize your niche and the quality of your website rather then building "popularity" as other linkbuilding methods are...

    It was tedious task but I finally did it
    I have removed about 600+ non working or low performing directories from this tool,
    then I have added new 850+ fresh directories into this tool,
    which is now resulting in 1780 directories in total.
    I expect submission success rates to be very high from this update.

    Also submission engine and table/indexes are now optimized for speed, so submission process should be much faster now.
