Is It good idea to setup 'sub-blog' for google?

all of us, know that SEO take too much time to build anywhere my idea is simple, I'm just looking for suggest
first I'm working in SEO for my blog and now I get some good place without building backlinks sometime, I want to setup new service related to mine but not to content of my blog, for example, I'm writing review and techniques for internet marketing product and I want to write reviews for bestselling clickbank product, I think setup sub-blog will work well for them as I setup a new blog but I profit from my original traffic, does google will rank my sub-blog and try to gives him a respectable place in search engine?
