SEO assistance needed

Good day to one and all! I am here to get your help in SEO. I am an owner of a website that is based on online accommodation services in LA. I wanted to keen on improving my site's position and incoming links. With some of the SEO solutions, I was able to bring my site on the 5 position of the first search engine result page. However, yesterday, I got a shock of my life. The website was pushed down to the tenth search result page. What could be the reason such a drastic drop? Need your views ASAP.

  • What sites are now above yours? Are they major competitors? It's possible that they've been doing their own work to increase their search engine rankings as well.

    Were you using one-time solutions or are the solutions you implemented ongoing?
  • hard to say without knowing the site and the key phrase, could be hundreds of factors.

    main ones that come to mind:

    you lost some of your high pr links.
    your main page content key phrase ratio changed
    your not updating content regularly
    competitors started optimizing for the same key phrase

    etc. really hard to give any advice without knowing the situation.
