BL dropped and google index.. sandboxed?

Hi guys,

i got scared today! i launched marketsamurai and startet to update my links. After it was done, my backlink count dropped from 234 to 66 and no pages in the google index.
This happened to all of my domains. All lost their backlinks :/
did i land in googles sandbox or what happened there?

    The backlink count is obtained from Yahoo Site Explorer. I noticed the same thing a few minutes ago. This doesn't mean that your backlinks have disappeared. Looks like Yahoo is updating/changing how many backlinks they report.

    I've seen something similar before and it lasted 1-2 days. Not sure if this change is permanent however.

    oh okay. its just strange that MS states that no pages are in Google Index but if im searching for my domain, i find my site as the top result... strange.. hopefully this isnt permanent

    Yes, Yahoo backlinks also for my sites cut to 1 / 5 or less. Don't worry. Probably some changes or whatever.

    Check the source, don't depend on the tools if you see something odd like that. Occasionally your IP address can be blocked due to excessive automated queries and the like or the search engine makes changes and the software can't read it anymore.
