Backlinking Help

Hello dear warriors ,
I already have a landing page which is targeting a keyword with about 850,000 search results( with quotes ) in google , So I am intending to build backlinks for my sites from Angela and Paul Backlinks even if I have to had the packages of the last months ...So I expect it will take much time from me , so I wanted to ask 3 questions :
1-Is there any method or a piece of software to automate this thing , as I think it will take much time from me to build a hundred backlinks .
b-How much Backlinks do you estimate may be needed to get my good ranking in SERP , ( I am currently in the page 24 in google , yes you read right and it is also for the privacy policy page , not the home page ) .
3-I heard that most of Angela Backlinks are forum profile Backlinks , so will they indexed by google by just building them as explained in the PDFs of Angela and I don't have to do anything else ? Or I must ping them or what ?

  • You will almost never get a good ranking just from forum profile backlinks

    • Why not try submitting some EZA? Worked pretty well for me. I Don't usually have over 30 backlinks for my sites and they are already ranking well for their keywords.

  • Search results (# of competing pages) do not tell you how competitive a keyword is. Analyze the top 10 results' backlinks with yahoo site explorer or the free version of SEO Spyglass. Keep in mind these tools don't show you all the backlinks.

    There are tons of software available for building links... bookmarking, directory submitters, profile link builders, article submitters, article networks.

    Profile backlinks usually don't index too well on their own for me. Maybe 25% after 2 months if I don't touch them. Pinging doesn't seem to do anything for me. Check out backlink index express. There are other methods available too.
  • To answer your first question, no there is no software for automating forum profile backlinks. The best you can get in terms of automation is a software that stores your personal information and fills out forms automatically for you. i personally use Roboform.

    To answer the other question. You need to know that profile backlinks should only be a part of your backlinking strategy. You definitely need to add article marketing and blog posting to it in order to rank for any moderately competetive keyword.

    @ cbpayne , But then why they say Anglea Backlinks are good while I read that most of them are profile backlinks .
    @ sokar , you may have already noticed , English isn't my first Language , and I am not completly ready for outsourcing now , I need some profits first to re invest .

    Can you please tell me what software can I use for these tasks , I mean automating the building links, bookmarking, directory submitters, profile link builders .
    And yes I also heard that not all the profile backlinks are indexed on their own , that's why I have asked here b4 I do it , so thanks for warning , But so I should keep away from most of Angela Backlinks ? as most of them - as I read - are profile backlinks ?

    Yes I am using also roboform but may be it still will take too much time , so I am asking b4 I make this too much effort .

    • Your best bet is to learn how to search WarriorForum.

      Also after actually paying for a month of Angela's backlinks a long time ago I was kinda mad to find out how easy it was to come across pretty much an unlimited # of these sites and how she never responded to my emails. Just do a search on how to do this as well.

      For linkbuilding---you guessed it. just do a search. Or get started learning about these.......... look up "article networks", seolinkvine, unique article wizard, incansoft, bruteforceseo, senuke, or a fellow warrior:kokchoon. There are tons more.
  • First of all, 850,000 search terms does not necessarily mean a lot of competition because it may be that almost none of these pages have been optimized for this keyword. This is why you need to identify keyword competition through other means (which sites in the top SERP list have the keywords in anchor text, titles, urls and then identify their pagerank and study their meta tags etc. to really know).

    Secondly, there is no magic number of backlinks. You need to go for quality not quality. If you are looking page rank then a PR 6 site has several thousand times the amount of link juice as a PR1 site and an infinite number as PR 0 site (which is most forum backlinks). Also, PR is spliced between all links on a page so a page with five links is going to be a hundred times better than one with five hundred.

    Of course, PR is not going to make or break you by itself. You need to build quality backlinks from reputable, relevant sites, that have other relevant sites linking to them and have your keywords in the anchor text whenever possible.

    Unless you go to a very high profile forum that is highly relevant to your keyword, you are not going to make it from forum backlinks alone. You need to diversity your linkbuilding practices.

    • Very true on the 850,000 competing pages. It's not really an indication of competition. A much better way is to use the allintitle: and this will show you how many websites have the keywords in their pagetitle (so they're optimising for it).

      The highest level, non PRO level links, are pretty much - articles.

      Concentrate on them.

      Bookmarking, and directories, and forum sigs, and blog comments are useful for gathering traffic but have little power when it comes to rankings.

  • Many things you could do

    - try 3waylinks
    - buy some profile links.
    - Write several articles on ezines to direct traffic back to your home page
    - ensure your home page is keywords specific with all your links you are trying to create.
    - If the keywords is too competitive, try using longer tail keywords, huge traffic is good if and only if they are targeted. Doesn't do you much good if most are not genuinely desperate traffic that will buy something from you

    Lastly, if you doing it all for a while, what you need sometime is patience.
    Very lastly, focus, and don't lose faith =) you will get there. Keep trying
  • The number of competing pages is at Google is a really misleading indication of competition. It gives you no real indicator of how hard a word is going to be to rank for. What you should really be looking at is the strength of the pages in the top ten for each keyword you want to rank for in terms of the overall site content, PR, and backlinks to the page. How hard it is to rank will have an effect on the optimal link building strategy.
