Same thing with the guy above. Linkvana works very well!

Article Marketing and spinning also works so you should go with that as well.

Yourself? your better off outsourcing links and using article sites, social bookmarking sites, press realease's and profile links. Quailty is always better than quanity.

If you've got the spare money, you can even build your own link network of sites by purchasing domains that have page rank, but make sure the pr is 2 and above, just using a free domain host and write short 150 word post with your anchor text links. Hell you can even get someone to do this work for you.

If the links are for your money sites then why rush, everything takes time, and 10 good links are better than say 100 bad no pr type links.

Well said. To make it simple and real SEO nature is more on reality try to do link building manually for you to realize what's the differences.

Spinning is a big problem for me. I can not stand a thought of spinning my quality articles yet I am getting out of breath, meaning very tired, writing them. It's so time consuming, unproductive - yet, article writing is one solid way to create links.

You first need to decide what you want from a software package then find one to fit what you need.

There are tons of seo software packages out there.. you also need to look at the cost over a long period of time.. either a one off payment or pay long term for a monthly subscription which will average between $77-$157 to only lease the software.

I agree with this. You should be careful in choosing the link building tools. Sometimes they just have quantity but low in quality.

I like ReciprocalManager because you can use it on all of your sites for one license, but dealing all the bozos with PR0 pages is a pain in the proverbial. It also takes way too much time to police the links directory. One of my sites went from PR6 to PR5 because almost 50% of these people had dropped my links for no reason at all. I still maintain a listing in several link exchange directories and accept reciprocal links, but my conditions are that if my link can't be found on a reciprocal bot check, moves, or so much as wiggles that site is gone, and, no, I don't even send an email or ask what happened. I have about 100 reliable link partners now and am grateful for every one of them. But you can spend 8 hours a day exchanging emails and dealing with this nonsense. Also, how come some of these sites have literally thousands of links in their directories and a PR or 4 or 5? Google apparently really does devalue reciprocal links a bit.

      Thanks

I have used most of the link building softwares and here's my opinion

    1. For Web2.0 1= Rank builder and SEO link Robot
    2. For profile links = Nuclear Link Blaster
    3. For social Book marking = Book mark demon
    4. For Article submission =Article marketing Robot
    5. For Rss = RSSBot

Try to put some diversity in your link building campaign. It works : )

Don't listen to anybody telling you to outsource because all the outsourcers use the software anyways. Manual linkbuilding is good, but automatic is good also. I would recommend getting the best piece of software for each element of linkbuilding and seo. So get one for article submission, one for profile links, one for blog comments, etc. Buying a program like Senuke for example, as it may be effective to a degree, won't be as stable as what I just mentioned. Hell, it will save you money too as most of them are a one-time payment. Do your research, see what other IM'ers recommend and test it out.

Well, I think you better do it manually. Using softwares for link building can creates problems. I know its a boring and annoying task but if you have to do it, then do it manually which is more reliable way...

Can you advise as to what problems are created by using software versus doing it manually?

      Why is it more "reliable"?

There aren't problems (or rather, there wouldn't be problems IF)
1). You carefully check the list of the sites listed in the automated softwares
2). You make sure to exclude those that are of a lower/no quality or even in worst case harmful (and this some times means to go through a list of 1000s of sites).
3). You can't waist time and resources to build inbound links TO those sites, they aren't yours and it is not a smart move to work on someone else's site...for free.

While doing things manually you can do both simultaneously; check if site is a quality one and avoid getting involved into lower quality sites.

        Some softwares I do like (but they do not automate the link building process, rather they give me a clue of where is worth to get a link from) are the next;
        • SEO Spyglass - I can practically X-Ray my competitors link building efforts AND replicate the same thing when I can (i do the same with MarketSamurai but it gives more broad information's)
        • Link Assistant - Same company but different software, even tho it is ideally designed to manage link exchange it can become quiet useful when you need to find links based on your own criteria (number of inbound links a site must have, minimum pagerank, minimum alexa, dmoz listed etc etc etc).
        • SubmitEaze - Article marketing, mainly I use (and like) this one as I can create my own list of sites where I want to submit my articles (also has a directory submission integrated as well). The way I like to play with this one is create a group lets call it A where I can add different directories that I find as "quality" ones, in these directories then I can submit my quality articles, then create another group B where I add a list of 'lower" quality directories where I will submit the spun articles and link from the resource box to the articles in group A and last, but not least use the third group of "crappy" directories where I can submit PLR articles or other spinned version of the article and link to the directories of group B (yeah it is sort of a mini net built thingie).

As you can tell, even from the "automated" softwares I would like to have complete control and not involve harmful sites to directly link to my money site. So whether you will use a software or not, you might still want to have some control and be able to create "quality" over quantity...just my 2 cents.

    This depends on your mindset...

Are you building a sustainable web business that you are passionate about?

If so, MajesticSEO will be your secret weapon...

If however, you are following the herd.. (Adsense)

SENuke, Scrapebox & SEOLinkPro will be automate a lot of your link building...

Having said that... I recommend you don't follow the herd if you want long term success.

I am not a big fan of using software unless it it just as an idea starter. I suggest hiring a link builder to do everything manually. The problem with most link builders these days is they think they can get away with using software to do your jobs, so make sure you don't pay until you have verified
    each link.

For me, my two favourite softwares have to be Article Marketing Robot and SEO Link Robot. They both work well and do exactly what i want them to do..

I think you need to consider which types of links you want to automate and then look into the type of software and cost you want to go for to build the links you are after.

    AMR- Mass article submissions
SEOLR- Web 2.0's,Rss,Bookmarking and pinging to name a few..

You can get very good with the submissions with both of theses softwares. I even use then in situations simply for link reinforcement.. As you can add your spun resource box and spun article into the softwares, build open link wheels etc..

I like to work a little daily with both and have sereral campaigns on the go constantly. I have launched a site three weeks ago and for some of my terms i am currently sitting on page two, am slowyl inching upwards.
