Which is better? A tweet or facebook post?
Facebook Vs Twitter: Which Performs Better?

For every link shared on Facebook, 2.87 people clicked through to the original story. Every link posted on Twitter generated 19.04 clicks, more than six times as much.

    Hi there,

I tend to use both. Twitter is more responsive indeed, but I believe Facebook ( if honed the right way ) can be more "snowballish", if you can get it to run . By this I mean the Fan PAges.

If you get a giant fan page, people do not have to come back and check "whats new". You just set a new topic on the wal off the group and all that LIKEd it, will be notified on their "Home" wall.

They will of course dislike it, if you spam the hell out of it.

So both are good in their own separate ways.

    Hope this helps.

    Sincerely, Buyseech

Twitter seems to be losing the quality that Facebook still has.
My experience is that I can get more traffic from Twitter but the better traffic comes from Facebook. It is easier to create relationships with the Facebook layout, videos, images and whatnot.

Twitter does seem to overfull of marketers. I have about 4300 followers and I would say that half the tweets are marketing. A lot would depend on your niche I suppose.

What gets me, is that twitter is embracing the business side of tweets.
That's not the original concept of twitter, as I remember. I used to be
very cautious with tweets, but now do it more often than ever.

I'd hate to see twitter over-run with nothing but ads in tweets. But then, I
would be a hypocrite as that's the only reason I use twitter.
