What is the best backlinking method and seller?

I am happy to pay for back links and have tried out a few different services with varying degrees of success. I publish a few hub pages and want them to be number 1 on google.

So far my most successful method has been to do directory submissions. I found a service via google called gotosubmit and they do the submissions for me. It is not that expensive and it works way better than forum linking in my experience.

I am interested to hear your opinions. I have read through the entire 60 day backlinking experiment but just did not find that forum links work for me.

I have also used 1 way links with success too. I stopped using them though in favour of directory submissions.

    Directory submissions are one great way to create backlinks. I certainly would not pay anyone to create those for me because I know how to create those on my own.

    Funny that you are using HubPages as your core site though. I just finished up an experiment with a hubpage site and got about 1200 links to the hub in under 2 days using scrapebox.

    99% of these were BlogEngine blogs. The blast was around 5k backlinks and majority of those were low key PR 3- PR0 blogs. Everyday a few more hundred show up towards the hub and so far the hubpage is still indexed in Google.

    My suggestion to you would be to use every angle possible to help your site.

    Try them on for size....experiment with the freebie site to see what works and what doesn't.

    I normally create about 30 hub web 2.0 sites and one way link them to my money site and NOT linking together to make a wheel.

    then I blast out about 4k to 5k blog comments to each hub..

    For my money site I just manually comment on high pr blogs, create forum profiles on high pr forums, etc..nothing crazy becaus if that baby gets boxed your done...any of the web 2.0 sites get boxed you just build another one and move on.
