I'm starting to learn wordpress and I notice that my about page and contact page is showing up in google. What do I have to do, so they won't show up ?

    I hope that you have a Google webmaster account if yes then you can remove these pages from the Google cache and Google index. Go into the section of webmaster crawl errors and there is option through that you can remove your pages from the Google index. If you want to remove these pages from SERPs only then you need to remove those keywords through that your both pages are coming into the SERPs. Change your website Title, description and web page content then they will automatically disappear from the SERP.

    you can just block your 2 pages from the search engines so robot can found these pages as no index.
