Does it make any difference what words come first in your domain name? For example, if the keyword is "red and white widgets", would redandwhitewidgetsonline.com rank better than myredandwhitewidgets.com?

  • I've seen the latter out ranked the other. but typically its best to have your keyword in beginning if possible.

  • It also is not neccessary to have a keyword in the domain to rank for that keyword. It helps, but no required. SEO 101 and the advanced class will help you with that.
