I'm currently running an adwords campaign with google, and recently had my domain pointed to a new website. My question is...are the clicks that I pay for considered a back-link, and will they at all help me with SEO rank?

This question periodically comes up. No. Adwords ads are not considered backlinks and contribute nothing to helping you rank better organically.
