Technical SEO Question

I have a site which has been live for over three weeks. The interesting thing is that the domain seems sort of banned by Google. Since each site can be seen as two (site dot com) or (www dot site dot com) after a week or so I figured out that for some reason this on will only rank on google as site .com and the other is completely ignored. It is not sandboxed as I have not yet really started to promote it.

I normally redirect all of my sites to the (www dot site dot com) and point my backlinks to that as well. Does not seem as I will be able to do it with this one though.

Should I change the redirect to (site dot com)?

Which one should I backlink to.... (site dot com) as well?

Can anyone give me any pointers how they would deal with this situation?

I have went into webmaster and even though I uploaded the sitemap and it has been recognized by the crawler the (www dot site dot com) is still not indexed and does not seem as that will change.
