Hoe come I see my article but not my site?

Hey guys,
Back to Yahoo for a sec if I may, I was looking for my main keyword and what I saw was the article I published in EZA at #6 but not the site itself.

Also happened for another site where I found my article in EZA that links to my site but not the site itself in Yahoo...

What the hell??

He finds my articles but not the site?

    It's not just Yahoo, it's most search engines. Sites like EZA have built themselves up so much that their pages can rank well without any incoming links. More than likely your website is a small, mostly unknown niche site. So when search engines rank sites, they see EZA has a big, powerful site that contributes a lot to its visitors then they see your site which is (probably) a small niche site that hasn't built up much popularity/reputation yet. Obviously the website that has really established itself is going to rank better.

      What do you mean? EZA? I need backlinks don't I?

      As for Google, I am on page 1 there ahead of EZA who I don't even see, so it's different between Google and Yahoo in this case.
