Homepage SEO optimization

Hi guys,

I have been wondering about this for some time now and decided to hear what you think about the issue:

Lets say I have researched for the keyword " Dogs " and saw that " Fastest Dogs Alive " is a good niche to enter. Bought www.fastestdogsalive.info and installed wordpress.
From here on I will make few categories like : Slowest dogs alive, dogs food, dogs games, dogs clinics and so on...
So, should my homepage which is intened to rank for " fastest dogs alive " have a blog roll on it/have all post from all categories displayed on it or should I put a static homepage with one article/welcome msg ?

    you should have a blogroll on ur niche.. this will help u more. as ur main keyword is "fastest dogs alive" so this must be more in density.

    I actually think it would be better for you to create a static homepage with a main long and keyword rich article.

    You should than link from this article to other related articles you will write and each one will be optimized for an LSI keyword that you can find using Google related searches or the great Wonder Wheel...
