    Hi,

    Not sure what you mean.

But say your keyword was (mlm leads), if you do a Google search on this keyword with "mlm leads" around the keyword Google will give you the TOTAL number of searches for the keyword.

The higher the count the higher the competition.

Now try a search on "best mlm leads" and have a look at the count.

thanks for your reply, just to quickly elaborate, say for instance you are competing for a keyword for your website i.e. "mlm leads" and Google gives you the TOTAL number of searches for that keyword and you want to know what page of Google your own website is on in relation to that keyword - how do you do that?

I mean what if your website is on page 250 of google for that keyword, you are not going to click "next" 250 times until you find your website on that page right? Surely there is a way to quickly find out that the keyword you are competing for your website is on page 250 without having to do this manually

        Hi,

I can see where you are coming from now. But I do not believe there is a "quick and easy" solution.

        Why?

The "keyword" or "keyword phrase" will need to be embedded within the content of your webpage and if possible within the title as well.

I am sure there are threads on the Warrior forum that can help you here. Have a good look around.

Picking a "keyword phrase", that has lower searches on Google should give you better results rather than competing for the popular search keyword phrases.

Google works on updating "content" and one way to compliment a static site could be your own Blog.

There's a free tool you can use that checks the top 1000 google results for any keyword
          seoserp.com/web_tools/google_top_1000_serps_checker.asp
          Hope that helps.
