Keep adding quality contnet, wirte articles and build backlinks. Think 3 days is pushing it though.

Sometimes it happens on Google, their algorithm is very hard to understand, but chances are that you will get a better possition soon. However, it's also possible that Google has dropped your site for last page for another reason (although I think that if they didn't like your site they wouldn't even keep your site indexed).

I suggest you that just try to get quality backlinks and content. Your website will be on 1st page again. You have to this work continuously till you get much ahead of others.

Why the urgency to get it back up to a number 3 spot on google. I have many sites that are ranked in the top 2 spots on google for many different terms. All of which have stay there for many many months. Then every now and again the site gets whipped off of googles front page for the broad term all together and I can not locate its location. However I do maintain the number 1 spots for the exact terms. All I ever do to fix this and get my page back to where it once was every time it happens. Is open up ipings, pingomatic, pinggoat, and ping my blog. I then also book mark the site using onlywire. Then submit a free piece of software that links back to the page that lost its way for the given term. A few days later I am back up to where I was before if not higher. It normally gets back up to the original spot within a day after doing all this. However I do not see the urgency in getting it back up to a top 3 spot in tree days. Why is it so important for one you should be trying to get as many keywords as possible and not just one single keyword. If you can rank for one keyword then you can rank for atleast 20 other related keywords and google will happily reward you for doing so. If the site as any age to it you should already be getting atleast 10-20 keywords for only targeting 1-2 specifics.

You shouldnt be worried about your rankings for a launch date but more concerned with those buyers you already have on your list. For you are not going to tell them to go look you up on google for a given keyword. You are simply going to tell those on your list that your site is now live and if they hurry they can pick up your product and or service at a discounted price. There for where you are at on lauch day should really not matter one bit. You will be able to get back to the spot you once where if not higher. You should not fully worry about where google places you 100%. As long as you keep building links and content the rankings will follow. There for do not worry about where you are on google for your launch because no one is still going to know about you if you have set a launch date for your site and if they do they are going to search for your exact domain name and not your main keyword.

Thats why you cannot rely on SEO solely you never know what the Google monster will do next. Its ashame they control everything we pretty much do online they need some competition. Its called the Google dance mine is going through it now too. Google would be a good candidate for dancing with the stars the way they move everything around constantly. They would win hands down!

I hope Bing can make up some ground or a new player emerges god knows we all need it.

I just do not understand why someone is concerned with a google page 2 spot for a launch in the first place. If I was to do a launch tomorrow I would not be using a search engine to ensure launch success. I would be concerned with my subscribers and make sure I gave them enough info on the product so they are going to buy the second that launch happens. Google is not going to bring you buyers on launch day SUBSCRIBERS are.

You want a successful launch on launch day. Go get about 30 top lev affiliates with big lists. Give them some kind of incentive to promote your product and for being the top affiliate for your product. Now you will have a successful launch. Not to mention a much much better launch date then any launch date google is going to provide you for any keyword unless you can get and hold a number 1 spot for a very competitive keyword term like affiliate marketing or internet marketing. This is the only way you will have a good launch coming from google. I assure you that these are not your terms but more like a long tailed term that gets maybe 20 searchers a day for the exact phrase.
