750+ USD is Easy from Adsense if we utilize social media advertising alone

Hey guys,

I've built an adsense website (on health niche) and simply promoted on social media websites like digg, del, stumble and twitter.. from the very first day (it took 2-3 hours) the site brought me 28$ from adsense. I put the same type of advertising on social media sites for 3-4 more days to confirm the earnings and it never gone below 20 a day. Now getting 6-7$ per day (stopped working on it). So its for sure that if you put two or three hours daily on the site promoting and social network your website - its not a hard task to earn from adsense alone. You can make a monthly total of 750 minimum from that alone. But you have work on such sites in the proper way to bring more people to your websites. (And it will also increase your SERPs for sure)

What do you think about this? Any experience from social media marketing?

Thanks

  • You are doing the right thing. Social media marketing traffic is not targeted. The best way to monetize your website is through adsense. If you were to use affiliate products like clickbank, the story would be different. Most people from the social media are not really buyers but just looking for information. Most of them would only buy a product if they could not find any free information online about the product.

You're absolutely right. Visitors you get from 'social media' is just like news readers. So its the best thing we can do for adsense or similar monetizing program which doesn't need a sales to increase the earnings. But you can still target this traffic for affiliate sales. I have tried this too but the conversion rate will be low and you have to be good at this to make it work.

Another important thing is if your social media presence is good you will get good SERPs - which will definitely going to help in aff. sales as well. So in many ways this can be targeted for sales as well.

Nope. Not simply submitting, you have to promote it as well. But simply submitting to sites like twitter and stumble is also helpful.

YES..the title and description is important - which makes other users to participate in the discussion and visit the site. But there are many other things involved in making popular stories in digg and delicious - which I am still working on. I will summarize the idea and steps involved and publish it soon. main thing is you have to promote your submissions to let others know and talk about it.

In short its like this >

Publish your website (Anywhere - FB, Twitter, Digg, Del, Stumble etc etc) >> Make it popular >> Get thousands of real users >> Convert to Adsense/affiliate marketing >> Earn!!

Its simple that lots of traffic can make big business - thats why we all do care much about SERPs. But with social media sites you can make it easily for a period - then work again, get traffic again and so on. I'm still learning there!(but organic traffic is steady)

How long have you been running this for... arbi methods like this (in the past) have resulted in bans...

Yep, what birdman said, arbri. will 90% of the time get you banned.

The traffic just don't convert most of the times.

@RyanEagle black-hat, automated, paid or activities against the TOS (of any social media services) are not involved in the process when I promote my websites in social media. So no question about getting banned arises. I know guys who make better affiliate sales from social media sites than their other monetizing methods. As 100% of the traffic from social media is worth and real, if its not getting converted to adsense or aff sales - that might be an issue with your subject selection, web page style etc. Though I have never tried this for my own aff sales, I have very good result in Adsense and SERPs.

@Al Mukmin the arbi-methods you are talking about is not familiar to me. I'm monetizing my websites and my client websites in my own way from last 3-4 months and till the day - its really working great..

    @olamilekan2 Sorry I don't get it..

    Thanks

Promotion is the method to make it popular at each of such places (Digg, Delicious, Twitter, FB etc etc..)

There is no link building. It is like making your submissions enough interesting to make others discuss about it and vote for it. But it's something you have to do intelligently. I'm planning to work it on to make it a guide here. That's why not going completely to the optimization techniques to make your website popular on social media services.
