Hello everyone,

I've been dead (posting wise) for about a week because I have been lurking the heck out of the warrior forums (buy it seriously, was skeptical now I never would look back).

Since...I have started a website and already boom I am getting some nice traffic! Not big bucks by any means but actually seeing hope!

I guess my question is, I am looking to outsource some backlinks and was wondering what is a good "starting number". I know if you boom yourself with too many backlinks you might get banned.

Thanks guys!

P.S. I don't mind some self-premotin'

Hmm...As long as the backlinks are natural, you are fine. So, I think you really have to be very careful.

Which is more effective? Posting a single comment on many blogs, providing a link to your site or being an active participant with several comments in higher ranking blogs with link to your site?

Which is the best strategy? Assuming 5 Blogs would be the top 5 blogs according to Google Page Rank on a Keyword and 500 Blogs would be the top 500 according to Google Page Rank on a Keyword?

    Which is best?

Don't worry about getting banned. The worst that would happen is you get sandboxed and then come out later on at a better position after a few weeks.

As far as getting things done in terms of backlinking and the limits of how much you can send, there is none, assuming you play your cards right.

If your website is new, then you have very little trust rank and will more than likely be danced around a lot any time you decide to build a lot of new links.

To avoid this, transfer your server over to an aged, high PR domain name by moving everything over to that domain and then 301 redirecting your original site over to it.

    Crazy right? But it works.

If you are attached to your domain name, you can always 301 redirect another high page rank domain to your site instead if that makes you feel comfortable about it.

This won't increase your odds of getting a good ranking but it will reduce your odds of getting banned and thus allow you to build as many links as you want.

If you want more info on these strategies, I highly recommend picking up Backlinks Hydra by Terry Kyle. Great read, tons of good info on stuff like this.

Determining the number of links you need along with the quality it an easy task to start out from.

Look at the keywords that you are targeting to rank in top 10 for. Head on to one of the backlink analysis sites such as backlinkwatch.com and type in the URLs of these competitors. You shall have an idea of what these people are doing. That in turn will help you decide exactly what you need.

Remember that the tools never show all the links (and do not count all of them) so be prepared to build more than what you see to be actually comparable.

Build only as much as you need - do not overinvest unless you have a strong reason to believe in it.

    Hey There,
I do outsourcing for backlink creation. We actually do work for some large companies but they have much larger budgets and we tend to stick with them. Some free, cheap advice would be to go on ODesk, post a job and hire your own team of SEO pros. I had a website ranked on thirty high quality short string keywords the day after our URL was indexed. We were able to create 20,000 Backlinks for $3500 and it was well worth it. You need to make sure you give your team the right instructions on your project. Use the following techniques to get you good quality work when dealing with off-shore employees.
1.) Hire those only with lots of hours and feedback
2.) Do your own keyword research and then give your team the keywords you want them to use in your anchor text when building links.
3.) Be as clear as possible on what you want and expectations you have for them
4.) Require that they compile an excel spreadsheet of all the work they do each week. This is key to determining the types of links they are creating and if they are creating links that will help your website get ranked. Remember "relevancy" is key here.
5.) Make sure the links they submit are on PR Rated pages... Not just sites, but ranked on the pages they are creating links to. This will increase your relevancy in the eyes of Google much quicker.
6.) split up your workers into projects. You may want to have a few people working on social bookmarking, a few on blog and forum commenting, and some building links on relevant websites. You will also want to comment on articles related to your nitch and make this a specific dedicated task.
7.) If you have the resources, have one person create lots of high quality blogs that you then backlink heavily and link to your main website. This will give your website more relevancy and more high quality backlinks.
8.) Set limits on the amount of hours your workers are able to work. It’s very easy to go over you’re budget and they take the money out automatically so keep a tight reign over your hours.
9.) Cheapest isn’t always best - some workers here will only charge $.99 cents, they are worth every penny. You should expect to spend $2.88 per person per hour for good quality workers from overseas. With a small budget you can get some great work done.
10.) Be careful who you give FTP Access to. I don’t recommend giving anyone FTP Access to your website. For on page SEO, have someone local do it.
11.) Make sure your backlinks include anchor text that match anchor text on your website.
Hope these tips help. I have been managing an outsourced team for quite a while and you tend to pick things up.
