CPC Higher today???

I have an adsense site that gets like 40 cents/click...
Today it's $10.00/click...I only got 2 clicks today but still nice...

I'm not complaining, but what's going on???
I keep refreshing because I think it's a mistake...but it's not...

Anyone have any explanations?

Such things happen sometimes. It depends on the niche your site is targeting. Sometimes, you may have most advertisers creating Adwords campaigns at the same time. If that is the case, may of them would be fighting for appearance on the google ad networks, thereby increasing adsense income for owners of those websites.
