Does alexa ranking really impact google results?

I just started my site and let me know that it is important Alexa Ranking Search Engine Optimization? Are these results affect Google rankings too? If I need to preserve the interests of a parent domain would be better to acquire 301 redirect to it? And how can I add to my current Alexa ranking without getting the main domain? I have integrated backwards to combine as the most important part of my SEO strategy. What can I do? I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions from you.

    One thing that impacts google rankings is backlink juice done properly....have you done any backlinking. Also, you may consider improving your social media presence.

    Alexa ranking is an estimation of your page views and the traffic of your website and it doesn't effect for your ranking in any search engine.
    If you want to redirect your domains, use 301 redirect. It keeps your current ranking and its recommended by search engines. The most important part of SEO strategy is making quality backlinkas for your website. Quality means getting backlinks from websites which are ranking good by search engines.

      Yes this is true but a quality link is one where your link sits on a page that has PR on it and at the very least has PR on the TLD.

    Alexa Rankings is an estimation of a website traffic stats like how popular a particular websites is, some of keywords its rankings for, demographics its most popular etc. And has nothing to do a website rankings in Google and other search engines

    I gotta say no it doesn't. I have one page that is 62,000 on Alexa and it has crap SEO rankings. I just funneled a bunch of traffic into it.

    Alexa rank just gauges popularity, kind of like how a celebrity gossip show/magazine does with celebrities. The more popular you are, the more eyeballs you have. It doesn't have anything to do with Google ranking though. Google ranking is based off of backlinks from authority sites and SEO.

    Alexa cannot and should never have an impact on Google rankings. Alexa is a separate entity. And their results are very biased. As you can see, Alexa rankings veer towards "technical" sites. Why? Alexa rankings are based on search queries by people who have installed the Alexa toolbar on their browsers, Since only technical people understand or use Alexa toolbar it is also taken that technical sites will surely outrank other sites.

    Ditto on jesus72knight. Alexa is biased in terms of results. But all in all, Alexa wouldn't hurt your rankings. If you see a certain drop, it's just Google dance.
