Hi all,
Please let me know whether it is good(in SEO point of view) to have two websites with same domain? For example, www[dot]domain[dot]com and shop[dot]domain[dot]com. Thanks in advance.

In a SEO point of view, It's always better to host your domain separately. How many times do you get to see sub-domains listed on google search first page.

I think you are talking about domain and sub domain. When Google PR is considering it will give more priority to the domain (TLD) not to sub domain
