Just spent a week looking at one of my existing sites and doing a bunch of stuff to improve it ... so far so good.
However just looking at my stats during the same period one of my older sites which gets all its traffic through some articles I wrote has outperfromed my new 'shiny' make over site hands down.
You can tell Adsense is a Google product because just when you think you have it sussed something unexpected happens.
Overall still making a lot of money from it though so not complaints really
