Keyword Research Little Underused Tip For Measuring Potential Traffic to ANY Keyword

Just wrote this up in a reply to someone elses post and thought it should really be a thread in its own right.
I use the following to discover keyword which I can use in article marketing. However you can use this keyword research tip across the board.
Here goes
Once you have done your normal keyword research and have established your potential keyword.
Go over to ezine articles and type in the keyword and do a search. Look at the top articles and see if they are ranked on page 1 of Google (the higher position the better).
Then look at the number of days published and divide this figure by the number of views. This will give you the average number of views per day.
No of Days Pub/No Views = Ave Views Per Day
This is a fast and dirty way of seeing what the potential traffic might be to your keyword and should be used along with all your other normal information sources.
