hi,

If my targeting keywords is "COMPUTER DESKS", but most of the domain names have been taken, which one is better for SEO, or other recommendation?

COMPUTER-DESK dot NET (no S)
DESKS4COMPUTER dot COM

    DESKS4COMPUTER dot COM will be much better since it doesn't have any hyphen in it.

      The hyphen doesn't have any effect on it. I would definitely go for "computer-desk dot com" before "desks4computer dot com". But I'm the sort of person who can't stand when people "typ3 lyk d15" and definitely wouldn't go buying products from someone who bought a domain name like that.

        Mate, when it comes to optimization it is advisable to " Avoid hyphens in domain names".

    I would go with the .net

    have you tried adding words before or after the domain? ie mycomputerdesks.com computerdeskscentral.com getyourcomputerdesks.com buycomputerdesks.com etc??

    I'd go for the .net

    This is just from experience of having someone cybersquat a .com domain I had, but the .net is still, if not more, powerful in the search results. Not to mention when you say it in passing to people...
