Need help! What to Optimize?

Just a question. If I have a blog hosted at blogger shall we say xyz.blogspot.com. I used domain forwarding to masked the URL, shall we say xyz.com. Now, I'm doing SEO for the blog. What domain should I optimize?

xyz.blogspot.com
or
xyz.com

    #2 Because you are masking the url and forwarding it, it means you are obviously going to promote the xyz.com link. Optimize that.

    • I think for a long term SEO project, forwarding a domain to a blogspot blog is not the best way to go in my opinion. However, you should promote the xyz.com URL and seriously consider getting hosting for it at some stage and move the blogspot content to it.

  • Domain forwarding is bad for SEO period! Your best bet is register hosting account or even get a free hosting account from a web host that provides free space in exchange for ad space but allows you to user your own domain.
