I want to do a reality check on getting Google Juice from forwarded domains.

Right now I have my domain registrar settings to forward NetworkingSurvey.com into a leaf of the Networking-2020.com site.

I'd like to be increasing the gravity of the latter. Is this the best way to coordinate related domains while increasing readability?

Thanks,
Paul

If you do a permanent redirect (301), that tells google you have move the domain. Additionally, you can tell google through webmaster tools through
Site Configuration > Change of Address

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Useless to forward as you are doing. You get nothing in return.

You need to do it the opposite way, unless it just looks good
      on a business card.

You cannot build authority or PR of a domain that has no
history. Or does not exist on the web.

The only way to increase the "gravity," would be to create a website
with the forwarded domain, build links, build PR, build authority, then
boom...301 redirect it. Using your method to forward a domain is not worth anything.

Except looking better on a business card.
