Scrape box question here

I have recently started using Scrape box and have grown quite fond of it, and pretty familiar as well. Everybody says it has thousands of features though so I guess i'm still learning.

Question here... How often can I use it to help one site?

When I use it I typically harvest around 500 to 1000 blogs(SOMETIMES LESS DEPENDING ON THE KEYWORDS OR IF I AM LOOKING FOR AUTO APPROVE BLOGS) with a 60-90% success rate. I obviously have private proxies.

Question two: Proxies count as a individual IP; so how much can one proxy take before it becomes blocked or blacklisted?

• This is a question I asked before on another fourm as I just got it a few days ago. i set myself up on a day to day work out of it for 3 main sites so other input would be great!

• I have only had Scrape box for a week now, but it is almost addictive. I have to stop using it. every time I open it up I find a reason to blow up my site with more backlinks.

It is a sick habit, but i think I'm done for a bit now.

That is why I am asking for this little bit of help I don't want to black list IP, site, proxies or anything else associated with me.

• Sir.....my question which I get diffrent answer from is this....When you put in a real name and your website link for the comment I understand yo ucant rank for any keyword only the link, HOWEVER since I own a blog and I see keywords used for the name I delete them since I know its spam. Are you using real names for the NAME filed or your keyword AND if your using the keyword as he the name how are you getting so many to stick?
• [1] reply
• No, you aren't supposed to use real names. That is why there is a name and email generator blogs don't care is they are real or fake, only profile sites do, but that's xrumers job.

as for your link and keyword situation, you are suppused to use this format...

{keywordvariation1|keywordvariation2|keywordvaria tion3}

simple spyntax

you rank for your keyword variations because they are the anchor text that contain your sites link.

noob stuff
• Well you've certainly convinced me.
• Hmmmmm, as I stated though as a blog owner im not approving ANY keywords used in teh name filed as I know there spam. Also I dont add links within my post I try and keep it as naturaly looking as possible to get approved for the comment. I dont want to blast 3,000 blogs and end up with 5 approved comments because I looked like a spammer :p

• It is a bit spammy, but it is only spam to the search engines if you force index all you blog comments quickly. And if you constantly do it daily.

You don't want to just add a site link. if your site is called Chocolate Rain and that is the only link you are posting, and it is only being posted in the website box, then you won't rank any better for any other keywords than "chocolaterain"

appearing natural to the search engines is a tough thing to do because I have posted to over 3,000 blogs in 3 days and i haven't gotten banned. Plus i've seen great results.

It is a much better idea to add keywords with anchor text than just a website link. you will draw a lot more targeted traffic and rank better.
• OHHHHH... I was misreading, you have a few typos. "name field". You don't put keywords in the name field.

At least I don't, but there are many who do. and have great success with it. I'm still working on that. I'll be sure to post another thread about how i do that when i come across it.

• LOL, yea im typing from work so its hard to type and work.......So your still saying use anchor text link within my post? i thought most would frown upon this and mark my post as spam rather then approve it.

• This is actually a version of one of my comment posts

name: jane doe
email:blah@gmail.com
website:www.website.com

comment:
"Hey, I found your blog to be very unique and useful. Thanks

{reviews|scam|keyword|weight loss|supplement} "

if you noticed i even used spyntax on the url i am linking to for each keyword so i don't just boost the rank of on page.

now those are random keywords, they aren't mine. i just wouldn't do that. that's unethical.

and on top of this one random spyntax post i copy and paste this into my comment poster so there about 10 keywords with anchor text and links for each post when posted on a blog.

in the end, yes use anchor text when posting a comment to a blog.

• Sorry I didn't mean profiles (Angela and Paul backlinks). I meant like a forum thread that has the PR then posting a reply to it with your link in the signature. I generally get about 5 or 6 PR3-5 backlinks from a good forum.
• [1] reply
• Whenever I create a forum profile I simply do that. Create it index it than leave it, after i filled in my signature box with my anchor text and such.

what footprint do you use to find the high pr threads? is there one?

• Can you tell me where I can get private proxies from.
Thanks.

• If you have scrape box there is a link within the program that sells them. I ended up using that site because they are best priced.

This would be that link. They have a monthly charge, but it is a good service.

http://xxx.yourprivateproxy.com/

You can also search the web for "private proxies" but there are so many ridiculous prices and scams that just give you crap. I'd go with the link i provided.

The dude even gives you a little tutorial to get started if you are new.
• [ 1 ] Thanks
• I would suggest you put some new user agent strings in as well. This will help you further obliterate your own footprint.
• Hi SirHarrrison

I see you are starting to see results with your SB.
I bought it for some days ago. But still not getting any results. Just a simple blog comments or just ping my articles that has not yet been indexed.
NON in results I get.

The SB support is not good. So I am here to get support to start use my SB. I hope you are others can help me.
Right now I don't want to spent money on private proxies. I just want to start with the free ones to see how powerful this tool is and to learn how to use it.

I know how to create comments. But the first problem is to search for sites with the same niche. Should I only add some keywords and start to harvest? What should I choose, is it worpress or other services?

• To wit, there have been some awesome suggestions, tips and strategies in this thread. That said, if you want to eventually become a SB Master in hurry, you REALLY need to grab Pat Jackson's ScrapeBox Domination

Oh, and if you really want to succeed with SB, you will need PPs. SB is a powerful tool once you learn how to operate it and have the appropriate associated gear that make it go BAM!

• Right, well. you can do a myriad of things with scrape box.

First...
watch every tutorial you can on youtube by the user scrape box I found them very helpful.
That may be just what you need.

Second...
Make sure you are using spytax or you will get blacklisted and put on spam list very quickly.

To answer you keyword question: I only use a select few, broad keywords like...health, beauty, weight loss for my weight loss niche. But my weight loss product is a lot more niche than that.

Finally...
Try manually posting and the blog type doesn't matter too much, but i tend to stick with wordpress type blogs. they are most popular.

Hope this helps.

• I also love scrapebox. Such a great tool. Worth every penny. I been using public proxies for now. Some that I scrape and another list i get emailed to me. http://xxx.yourprivateproxy.com/ are their proxies good?
• Regarding the name field/keyword comment. Depends on your platform of choice really. Generally I wouldn't recommend that. You'll be smacked by various spam plugins when doing this with wordpress. BE is alright I guess.

You can always use all kinds of buffer sites to prevent your domain from being blacklisted. Or get a couple of cheap .info domains, redirect and submit them as your URL. Might help too.

• abnation - what you mean is that we should use names instead of keywords, right? This will not look so spammy.

Follow up questions:
1-Does anyone know if the "connection setup" does affect the results? Or just the speed of the work?

2- about the ping mode. I have tried to ping some articles or my site. But I didn't get any results. Is there a way to check my results? I have looked in my google analytic tool but no visits where registered.
• If I get a comment (and since I use SB I can tell spam from a manual comment) that has a keyword in the name I spam it no question asked. BUT I do suggest to take comments that have names (made up or not) in the name field and remove the URl for comments. Others maybe doing this with our SB blast but it helps for comments on your blog

• Talk about irony...

You make this statement about blog commenting BUT then you turn around and offer this in one of the sites in your SIG...

Hahahaha

Go ahead and laugh....

• Do anyone know who the ping mode works? Should I see any results in my google analytic tool?
I have pinged 2 sites and some article of my and no new visitors are registered.
• [1] reply
• Ping mode is really simple. You just have to harvest a list of fresh proxies, Then determine where you want your traffic to come from and what sites/pages you want it to go to. (i most frequently use this feature for ezine articles for a boost in views)

Here is a great tutorial:http://xxx.youtube.com/watch?v=NNJJwGJE_k0
This guy has terrific tutorials. Just watch them all. They aren't all updated tutorials, but you'll get the idea.
• I think 10 comments from the same IP address may be reasonable to the admin
• [1] reply
• That's a negative ghost rider.
If you have gotten 10 comments from one of the same IP addresses you are getting raped with no protection.
OR
If you are posting 10 from one IP you are bound to be blacklisted soon.

Start using proxies, free or paid for it doesn't matter at least you aren't posting ten comments all form the same ip.

best of luck though.
• Does anyone here use the Rapid Indexer on SB for indexing there backlinks and if so what success rate are you getting (in particular to profile links)
• [1] reply
• Yes the rapid indexer is a great tool. Have you ever used a ping tool site like pinger.com or pingler? (rhetorical) It's like that but bigger.

It just blows your site/page up with pings, but instead of pings being traffic it's pings being indexing pings that will get you indexed faster and found in the search engines.

I use it for my backlink pages, not my main site. Keep that in mind otherwise you may suffer in rank.

Most likely your main site is already ranked, and the site you are commenting to is not.
• [1] reply
• I just want to share a bit of information relating to the comments i get daily.

I receive around 80-100 comments daily. Thing is all of my comment fields are hidden, not disabled. You may ask. "Why don't you just disable them?"

I like to see what others are selling that is why.

Anyways. Evey time i take a brief look at these comments and see a few of the same "faces" posting on my site. I want to damn them to cyber hell. I report them as spam everytime, they just pop back up though.
Everytime they use a unique IP and post another comment on my site.
They are usually Russians selling some crappy a$$ car parts or some a$$ h0le selling boner pills.

THE MESSAGE:

There is no way you can get away using the same IP adress posting more than one comment without creating unique content. YOu will get your a$$ caught quick. Make sure you use different IP than your own. Don't be that dumb.

The best identity on the internet is no identity.
• thanks harrison

I have actually watched it. And by pinging ezines don't work, they have blocked this feature.
SB is to complicated, there for I am leaving this software.

Thanks for your support
