Hi

Can anyone here offer some advice for optimising a website with Bing and Yahoo in mind. My website is #1 for 'bouncy castle' and 'bouncy castles' here in the UK on Google but for some reason, it's absolutely nowhere on Bing or Yahoo. Most of my pages are indexed by these other search engines..

Thanks

  • It takes longer for Bing and Yahoo to find your site and will take longer to rank, and less people search in Bing and Yahoo. I didn't do anything special to optimize for Yahoo and Bing, and the traffic came eventually. Just do what you usually do to SEO for Google.
  • That's very true once Google has you then they will follow. Did you submit to the other engines?
  • I find the longer your site is up, eventually Gooogle and Bing find it. What applies to Google SEO does not apply to the others. They tend to like content and keywords. Shame on them.
  • yahoo and bing will rank you when they found many keyword on site

    • The website has been up for 17 years. As I said, the website is number 1 on Google for most of my keywords but it's just Yahoo and Bing which seem to be struggling ranking my site high enough.
    • Alright - thats none sense - bing and yahoo just work differently - yahoo. cares alot for your onpage seo yahoo give your onpage seo around 75% of the ranking. while meta tags are very important.
Bing same thing. though bing cares much for updated content.

now both of them will catch up with google / google with catch up with both of them. just should continue what your doing and have spotless onpage seo.

Again - that is none sense Please read more and make several website on a lower competitive word and test it.

      your sami right

-- onpage seo - spotless follow their every guide line you'll be fine

but as bing and yahoo are only 15-17% of the traffic i wouldnt even bother with them just set you onpage SEO and you'll be fine..

Just an opinion. from personal experience .

i think put the h1,h2.... meta to the title (including keywords) will be a good method
