Micro niche finder running slow.

Hi all,

I am new to internet marketing and recently purchased the Micro Niche finder.And it seems that MNF is running really slow. It took about 1/2 an hour to search for key word. I have seen some youtube videos of MNF working and
it fetches the keywords in matter of minutes. Even I have worked with the older version of MNF and it also worked fine it did even took 1 min fetch the keyword on same computer and net connection that I am using now.Most of the time the mnf is terribly slow and it is not responding. Currently I am running MNF 5.2.6. on win xp professional sp2. Do I need to install any seperate file to make MNF smoother or is the MNF these days runs really slow. How to make the firefox default for MNF.

    It works with Windows XP SP2 but i think your windows has some problems and it caused Micro niche finder run slow. Have you installed many programs on your windows?
    And also do you have a high speed internet connection?

      No it only has few programs installed like ftp client and easy php to test my wordpress site before uploading. The connection is 256 kbps which is slow but used to work the previous version of MNF fine as I mentioned in my query.
      Any fix for this problem

        They have an update...(5.2.7) but for the love of GOD it runs so slow now. Why do people mess with something that was fantastic only to make it worse? I purchased this product a year and 1/2 ago and it was perfect. I know the big "G" made a few changes and they had to evolve with them but MAN....I just want to stick a screwdriver in my eye waiting for niche results.

        I feel your pain brother and I have been in touch with them. They tell me they are working on the issue and hopefully they can fix it soon as for for now I am working on SEO and putting my keyword research on hold.

          I got MNF a few months ago and it was slow from the start, and when you had to fill in all those captchas, it just became too tiresome.

          I also found some discrepancies about the mod score for very highly competitive keywords.

          I don't use it anymore, I just use the Google Keyword tool, SEOQuake and an Excel template that I set up, and its actually a whole lot faster, and I can trust the results more.

            Thanks for the reply ,Does it take 1/2 an hour for you guys to search . My connection only 256kbps speed does it have any thing to do with this speed. My pc is AMD athlon 1.8ghz with 512 Mb RAM. I have seen youtube videos of MNF search and it only takes 10 to 20 second for a search. Even the google keyword tool that MNF depending on will only take about 10 seconds or less to retrieve the data.
            I have read so many post on comparison between MNF and MS since MNF is newbie friendly I chose MNF .But nobody has ever mentioned about this speed issue.

              I too am anxious for Micro Niche Finder to get straightened out but in the meantime you can benefit from Traffic Travis with a free version that is better than a lot of paid tools, and the free version of Market Samurai.

            I first used MNF guy in the beginning.

            Now I'm doing exactly like what you're doing.

              Can you send me the Excel template and give a quick description how you plug in the SEOQuake and Google? I still have not been able to resolve the slow keyword results with these guys. MNF used to be very fast but than after they "upgraded" it has been turtle speed and time is money when you are searching tons of potential keywords.
