So now I'm running wordpress blog and in All-In-One SEO pack I didn't set the feature to use noindex on tag archives, and if google index those pages it shows ULTRA DEAL of duplicate content within my site. Then people told me about that so I used noindex there, but google still has my tag archives indexed, even tho google crawler crawls my site daily and should have noticed ages ago I don't want to index tag archives anymore. How long will it take them to remove those pages?

5 to 30 days IF you don't build links.

Building links from high traffic sources can increase the chances of your site being indexed faster, as the Googlebot might explore your site through one of these links and index it.

In my experience, if you build start consistent link building from some medium PR sources, you can expect to be indexed in a few days.

EDIT: I just reread your post, I was a little hasty on the reply there. For Google to remove (i.e.- reindex) pages, it can take around 3 weeks.

Even if you submit sitemaps for them which just simply scream "Hey, THERE'S NO FREAKING PAGE HERE ANYMORE"?..

Yup, it seems to take a while, read the following example of a fiasco I'm currently going through:
Two weeks ago someone accused me of being a scammer due to an unfortunate series of events.

Turns out one of the employees of one of the companies I used to work for has been scamming people. A few folks made a blog to inform the public about this. Unfortunately, my LinkedIn listed me as working for that company and my first name is similar to his.

My first name is Orun, his first name is Arun.
Because I had no photo in my LinkedIn (I added one the other day), they BLUNTLY ASSUMED that we are one-and-the-same for some reason and listed me all over that site.

I googled my name (google "Orun Kabir"), found two wordpress blogs speaking negatively of me and emailed the owner + commented all over the place right away.

The owner of the blog apologized for his crass actions and removed my nam. In spite of the blog getting a lot of attention from Google, tags of my name bring removed, no mention of my page on the sitemap, etc. nothing has changed.

Two weeks later, I'm still waiting for Google to restore my reputation. Hopefully it happens in the next week!
There doesn't appear to be much that can be done to accelerate this process, and believe me, I've tried getting quite creative!

I'm having the same problem, I changed the no index archive pages setting in the all in one SEO pack plugin, so I guess I wait three weeks.

After reading your concern I was double checking Google webmaster tools (if you have one for your website). You can remove URLs from web index by going to crawlers access and remove URL tab. There is another way to remove URLs by robots.txt file and block access to tags or archives pages.

I hope this is what you were looking for!
