Question on Keyword Research

Lets say I found my keywords 'wireless spy camera' and it gets:

2,900 montly searches on exact
$1.97 per click

The competition level only has about 443 backlinks pointing th the site....which are mostly blogs, and a few directories....

The .com & .net versions are taken......I can get wirelessspycamerareviews.net though.......do you just simply setup the site around that one keyword....slap up the adsense privacy page, then build up your links?

  • I would go with few more related keywords and make that page count more than 10 so that you can diversify and target more related keywords to rank for when you have better rankings for your original/primary keyword

    • So it's better to try to setup a few additional pages opitimized around long tails to pull in some extra bank?
    • Agreed with you, I would also go for more related keywords to use in my site as well this will make an opportunity to rank more in google search engine.

  • You could readjust the word order too or use a hyphen.
  • Search on Google for you main keyword, then take a look at "Wonder Wheel." That will let you know what Google thinks is related to that keyword. You can use those for category keywords or something similar depending on the competition.
