AdSense Challenge - A Competition

Primer: my website, Seekyt, is similar to Snipsly/Xomba/Others: i.e. revenue sharing to write articles and bookmark websites.

I'm holding a competition at my site - basically, you have until January 6th to write articles, get ranked, get traffic and get found. The person who drives the most traffic, makes the most money, etc., will get AdSense ownership of Seekyt for 24 hours (yes, this is AdSense safe). The revenue sharing model is 65% for the user on their content pages, 35% for the website across all pages- so I figured this could be profitable for some competitive members.

Here's my question: is 60 days long enough for this to actually be viable and profitable for the winner? Obviously, the number of participants will play a large role in how much the winner will make. I don't think any of the participants so far are SEO experts or social media icons/gurus that know how to rank well for their content.

Unfortunately, my site doesn't have the perks that HubPages has, i.e. 80%+ readership from "friends" on the site - it's just the contrary at Seekyt. 80%+ of all traffic is from the search engines. So any participant will really have to rely on SEO or social media to win...

I made some major on-page changes to make the SEO better for my site and easier on the user. I've removed 90% of external links from content pages, did away with the sidebar, optimized using information from my Optify account, etc.

What do you think? If you were a member of my website, is this something that would interest you as SEO experts, or is this competition not viable enough for real results?

By the way, feel free to join the competition if you're interested (shameless plug).
