I'm curious to know what you guys think should fill in this equation:

Google Ranking = Relevancy + PageRank + (_____)?

Other than KW relevancy (on-page SEO) and PageRank, what else is affecting how high up in the SERPs you are?

And no, I'm not including personalization/local search in all this. Assume zero of that.

What else matters?

    Hi brandonbaker,

It's really all relevancy and how other factors influence relevancy. PageRank is a weighting factor for backlink influence on relevancy. The other major weighting factor is Trust.

    Google Ranking = On-page element's influence on relevancy + ((Backlink's influence on relevancy X Backlink's PageRank X Backlink's Trust) ... (Backlink's influence on relevancy X Backlink's PageRank X Backlink's Trust))
