Reverting to old settings on AdWords?

Is there a way to turn back the clock on all of my AdWords campaign settings?

My campaign has been running for about 8 days now. It peaked on day 4 (44 clicks with 13 conversions), and has been steadily declining ever since. I thought maybe weekends were just slow, but the descent continues. Yesterday I had 14 clicks with 3 conversions.

I've been doing things that I THOUGHT were optimizing the campaign: pausing non-converting keywords, increasing bid on converting keywords, ditching the Display Network (REALLY low CTR and next to no conversions), not displaying during non-coverting times, etc. But my numbers just keep tanking.

BTW, AdWords gave me the option to use their Conversion Optimizer today. I decided to turn it on and set it a bit higher to my usual cost/conversion, but so far I'm not really seeing results. What's the general consensus on Conversion Optimizer?

I don't know about the clock thing. If you haven't already I would suggest you create a testing account and a "good" account.

Take your converting keyword and ads over to a fresh campaign/ account.

That way your ctr and qs will improve.

Could I just create a new campaign? Although someone in another thread said that it would make no difference.

I don't really want to create a new account, because I was told that this was against ToS and can result in having my account banned. Moreover, it's linked to my Analytics. Please note that this is for my own business and not affiliate marketing.
