The traffic is coming from where?

Before I got busy with internet marketing I was quite a serious musician. But after I got busy online, I didn't have time for practicing. I was loosing my grip over my instrument. So, I thought I should open a blog about music. That would keep me close with music. So, I created a blogspot blog two months ago( Didn't want to invest for domain at first) posted a review of my guitar and some guitar lessons. Integrated it with adsense. And after that I totally forgot about it.

Today I logged into Adsense after 2 months and I was shocked to see that the blog received 1500+ UVs and around $5. The $5 is nothing, what amazes me is that the traffic. NO link building or nothing related to SEO was done. Just created the blog. Then, I had those traffic from where? Is this an advantage of blogspot? I tried google search the site isn't appearing anywhere. :confused:

Thanks for letting me know about blogger Stats. All of traffic were from Google. Thats why I'm amazed. I didn't even try to index it. So my question is does blogspot blogs has any positive side in SERPs?

Blogger is owned by google as far as I know, that's why most IM marketers tell you to open a blogger account in your nieche.

The other reason is that you probably posted really cool content there that both google and people like.

I suggest you to sign up for Google analytics and installing Awstats on your server that enables you to track the traffic of your website.

  You can't add awstats to a server he doesn't have. The site is on blogspot so google analytics and webmaster tools will have to do. Plus they really are better than awstats anyway.
