Question about Keywords

My questions is if I have 3 keywords I am trying to rank for. Lets say

Weight loss
Medical Weight Loss
Weight Loss program

And I am able to get 3 valuable links and control the anchor text. Is it better for me to use one anchor text for each keyword or should I use all 3 on

"Medical Weight Loss Program"

Which would help me out more. I usually hear the more direct the better but in this case would it be better to incorporate all the keywords?

Don't even bother trying "weight loss", you need millions of links and it will take 2 years or so and some $xx,xxx.

you should target "medical weight loss" separately and "weight loss program" separately. mixing keywords doesn't help. As "Medical Weight Loss Program" will be considered a keyword on its own. You will not have any ranking for the 3 keywords you have mentioned.

Not true, "medical weight loss program" will help you
rank for "weight loss program" exactly because it
      contains the sub-keyword.

medical weight loss program contains the sub keyword but i guess is kinda long tailed one. But it will be fine as long as it will be the last option for selecting.

    Personally, I'd go for

    Medical Weight Loss
    Weight Loss program
    Medical Weight Loss Program

...and drop that idea that you can only get 3 good back link - my guess is that in any weight loss niche you're going to need quite a few - so get busy building links

The most important factor which I would like to come into notice is just try to find out which one of these three keywords is less competitive and then use that one.

Because if you go for a least competitive keyword then chances are high that you get more direct or targeted traffic on that keyword.

Now as far as which one of these you should go for in general terms then by looking the keywords I would suggest to use:

      medical weight loss program

Its not a good idea to combine all keywords to get one backlink. If you go for this then your site will have ranking for Medical Weight Loss Program but not for any other keyword. Instead of going for Weight Loss, you must go for Medical Weight Loss as it is less competitive.

I agree with what davebr52 is say, with just the 3 links, it will get you no where. Even though some link have more weight than others, make use of the opportunities when you see it. Light weight or heavy weight links add up.
