I use Ping.fm to organize my bookmarking sites. Plus it makes it super EZ to slap up bookmarks and/or status updates/blog posts to the 16 or so bookmarking sites I use.

I ping all of my bookmarking site profiles regularly, especially after new posts, but I've found that delicious is one of the quicker ones in terms of being indexed & finding your backlink.

I've been noticing that when you use AddThis, if addthis adds a newer sb site, the uniqueness of the SB site being new can get a boost from the QDF (querry deserves freshness) part of Google's algorithm.

Jumptags worked pretty good 6 months ago, now they're not showing up so much.

What's in vogue seems to have a rise and fall, they seem to perform, then once everybody jumps on the bandwagon, they loose some of their pulling power

I just ping them on pingomatic website, it is very good site to get index the web pages.
