An Article Link Directory???

Would a do-follow article link directory be effective for SEO?

This could be sort of like a DMOZ site... but it would link directly to articles using titles rather than have articles that link to articles.

What software would be good for this? MediaWiki?

Anyone have any domain name suggestions, if you think it would be a good idea?

Do any exist?

And there are sites like Google Blog search and Google... but you have to search for specific articles. They aren't just already logically categorized for easy browsing.

#search engine optimization #article #directory #link
  • Realistically any link helps but I would say that a directory link if the accept everyone then the worth of that link might be like .0000000001 but that can still make the difference in rankings
  • if your building the thing yourself, i'm not sure there'd be a ton of value to it... I mean yeah your providing a service.. but that service may not provide a ton of value beyond what google does in maintaining it's own index of web pages... I fyou can think of adding value beyond the list of articles.. Like say a social ranking system like Digg.com or something, you'll have it made.... mind you there's even competitors already doing that so unless it's in a real niche subject...that idea might not be that lucrative.
  • Do follow directories are always good and do not use any software to do submissions always do manual work.
