Hope I'm not stepping on anybodies toes here... but what backlinking methods do you use to make up your overall backlinking strategy.

I'm very new to off-page SEO, so I'm looking for ideas to create a systematic strategy for over 300 sites.

    My link building strategy is to build always quality backlinks. Here are the activities which i am doing for link building.

    1. Directory Submission
    2. Social Bookmarking
    3. Article Submisison
    4. Press Release
    5. Forum Posting
    6. Blog Commenting
    7. Blog Posting
    8. Social Networking
    9. Classified Ads
    10. Video Promotion

      These are good methods but i ignored Directory Submission and Classified Ads. these websites can not help a lot and according to the difficulties specially for submitting ads on Classified sites, it doesn't worth to work on them.

        is it true? directory submission and classified ads are not effective ways to get backlinks? or maybe the PR of those website will effect on our website? can someone tell the truth about directory submission and classified ads?
