Anybody recommend anybody?

I just need an expert to look at the guts of my wordpress sites (promoting amazon products) to make sure that everything is how it's supposed to be.

Thanks

Here's keyword density (x=times repeated %= self-explanatory) for the top 3 keyword phrases on each site. Looks like you're doing a decent job of on-site SEO. Firstly, make sure you include your "keywords" in the Title, Meta Keywords & Meta Descripiton, and Headers <h1></h1><h2></h2>.

Off-site SEO not so much.... Virtually no links to either site - If you've even embarked on backlinking yet! Lol!

Type your content and naturally sprinkle in your "keywords". Sites look good though!

Also, I don't know if it really matters (I do it for aesthetics), but I like to make sure I "title" all of my links. Sometimes my text doesn't even link to anything.... I just like descriptions when you hover over the "link" lol! <a title="Yeah, why don't you hover around... get it" </a>

          CHEERS!

            CHEERS!
            Thanks Scott!!!!

I just started backlinking about 3 days ago. Here's what I've done:

            1. I've hired a couple of people from fiverr to do some backlinks for me

            2. I've purchased profile packets from Angela and Paul. I've done twenty so far (for 2 of the 3 sites).

*** I would like to try article marketing, and link wheels.***

I'm going to hire a writer for the article marketing.

but to be honest I don't have a clue about 2.0 linkwheels. It seems like it's a really difficult process!!

            oh....

            one more thing...

what percentage of the overall content piece should be keywords??

I just outsourced some backlink creation for the first time (actually the first time I've ever outsourced ANYTHING!!) Lol! I actually recv'd my Excel spreadsheets a couple hours ago outlining all the links, blog comments, pings, rss feeds, profile packets, etc. Very, very impressed with the turnaround time - less than 3 days Sat, Sun, Mon.

It's a Warrior Service. Click Here to check it out. I just got started on a new site - bought domain and uploaded content last Sunday 11/7 for a pretty competitive search phrase - but I'm not doing CPA or affiliate or AdSense or any of that stuff anymore. 821 backlinks earlier today - so I'll check tomorrow and see how much it's bumped!

              CHEERS!

P.S. Oh and some good article directories to submit to: Amazines, Ezinearticles, GoArticles, Articlebase, FreeOnlineLibrary. I know everyone says NEVER submit the same article to different directories. Well, I do and I still get the backlink. I just don't have those articles anywhere on my website!

          Best Knife Block Sets

          Onpage SEO:

There is a lot to be said about your onpage SEO, I have comprised these tips for you to review. Also, I recommend going for just one keyword per page as it will strengthen your onpage SEO for that keyword.

          Title:

          Your title tag is setup ok, however;

Your page could benefit from a keyword focused onpage title. Your current title is an image, this looks pretty cool so you might want to keep this from a user-friendly point of view.

From an SEO point of view you should include "best knife block sets" in <h1> or at the very least, <h2> tags.

          Body:

You will also benefit from more text on your page. As a rule, you should have more than 500 words in your main body.

I would put a 200 word blurb before your products (or after so you don't push them down the page) with your keyword appearing twice. At least one of those times in bold.

          Links:

Your links to read more are actually images, these aren't necessarily the best for SEO purposes, especially because you have not optimized them.

For example; your first link looks like this:

          <a href="http://www.bestknifeblocksets.net/chicago-cutlery-insignia-2-18-piece-knife-block-set-with-in-block-knife-sharpener/" title="Read More" class="open"></a>

Consider changing it to something like this:

<a href="http://www.bestknifeblocksets.net/chicago-cutlery-insignia-2-18-piece-knife-block-set-with-in-block-knife-sharpener/" title="Best Knife Block Sets - Chicago Cutlery Insignia" alt="Best Knife Block Sets - Chicago Cutlery Insignia" class="open"></a>

As for the offpage SEO, Yahoo Site Explorer is showing 0 backlinks. I'm not sure if it is correct or not though as I am not on my own computer. I will analysis the offpage SEO and competition later when I am back on my computer with access to my tools.

I hope this brief onpage analysis was helpful.

Ok, h1 stands for Heading 1.

You can simply write "Best Knife Block Sets" at the start of your page and select "Heading 1".

If you are working in HTML, wrap the title with <h1>Best Knife Block Sets</h1> to take advantage of this onpage SEO technique.

              Make sense?

If I do this, will it mess up my current setup?

Can I do this so it's hidden?

No! That would be sweet though if i got hooked up w/ that many indexed backlinks for $37! That's what I was sitting at in terms of backlinks yesterday. I was saying let's see how much it increases! I'll give it a day or two

I have a couple different tools... but I just pulled these stats real quick using SEOQuake - just clicked on the "density" button. You can pay for tools that do this, or DL free ones (like SEOQuake for FireFox) b/c keyword density is going to be the same no matter what tool you use.

The ideal density I'd shoot for for my targeted keywords would be 3-4%. Anymore and it could look spammy - especially if you're main page consists of like 100 words lol!

SEOQuake has everything I really need in one click - I check search engine competition, competitors backlinks and the PR the links are coming from, density, keyword density, indexed pages in G, Bing, Altavista, Yahoo - G backlinks, msnbacklinks, site age, delicious, digg, stumbleupon indexes redit indexes....

Lots of good stuff you can do yourself w/o forking over some dough. Sure some paid tools will look nicer and be easier to read (to the novice! lol j/k) and give suggestions, but I prefer to make all my own recommendations and decisions myself - call it stubborn or just stupid! lol! But I'm doin OK!

But you can get an Idea. My keyword is "refillable ink cartridges." It's in the title, meta descsription, meta keywords, H1 (no h2 or h3 tags). The density for my keyword is 4.62% and appears 9x. This site is 100% on-site SEO'd out for "refillable ink cartridges." I even have it in all the link titles and image alt tag.

Again, I just re-upped this site about a week ago (canceled original hosting about 8 months ago). It still has 61 backlinks - it sat at the #2 spot in Google for months with me doing nothing else. Just goes to show what good competition research and on-site SEO can do. The max backlinks it may have ever had was like 70.
