No, this isn't a listing of Adsense 'tricks', but rather a warning for those of you who value your Adsense account.

I just read on a WSO for Adsense sites that the provider assures he can help you get an Adsense account, even if you've been banned - if you buy some of his sites.

If you've been banned, their are only two ways to get an account. First is to ask for reconsideration. Rarely works - I know of no successful attempts.

The second way is to open a new account with different information.

The problem here is that Google will almost certainly connect you to your old account, at which point you'll be banned again. And all the time & effort you put in will be sunk.

Adsense is not a short-term endeavor. If you're doing it properly, you're investing a lot of time & effort. Don't risk having those efforts become wasted.

And if you've been banned, save yourself the possible heartache of going through a ton of effort again, based on someone telling you they can get you another account "no problem"...

The single best thing you can do to avoid getting banned from Adsense is to provide a good amount of unique content. Other than that, be sure to follow the TOS and don't try to have others click your ads, they WILL find out. Simpy abide by the rules and provide unique content and there should be no reason for them to ban your account.

I've always been amazed by people who believe they can connect sites from a previously banned account to a new account.

How can they think Google...the king of data management...doesn't keep records and do cross referencing!

      Lol.

Yup. And that's just the really obvious connection. Then there's the 'whois' information, 'contact' or 'about' page information, Google Analytics...

The main reason for getting banned by Google is fraud clicks. Google is so sensitive for this and they easily ban an account if they think fraud clicks on the websites for that account.

Recently I read a whole article by someone who claimed that as he reached the $100 adsense payout he got banned for no reason. This writer makes claims that Google does this as standard practice to get free advertising. I have a couple of new wordpress blogs that get low traffic, so I'm currently a long way from the $100 threshold. Hate to think I'm wasting my time, even if I'm totally white hat with my methods.

  • Good post. Sometimes, adsense generally and getting adsense account is really a headache. The problem will continue as long as adsense continues to be the most attractive income source for website owners. There are other adsense alternative like Chitika and Kontera but they just don't add up to what adsense offers.

I think the deleted accounts are just accounts where Google detect invalid / fraud clicks. I hope just I will never be banned from Adsense with no reason.

    Hi guys,

I've just joined. However, I couldn't help but make my first comment on Adsense. Getting an Adsense account is a piece of cake because I got mine in about 5 hours or so. Not just good content but also how you present it was also responsible for it!

There is a ton of misinformation on adsense.

Nobody gets banned for no reason.

      The top reasons are probably:
Clicking your own ads multiple times. And regularly.
Sending traffic from ways that break TOS.
Tons (yes tons) of invalid clicks.
      Content that breaks TOS.
      Adsense placement that breaks TOS.

Very easy to gloss over placement and content TOS.

And there is always this reason:
Google does not think your site(s) are good for adwords customers.
      That is a valid reason.

There are a lot of snake oil salesmen who talk about getting a new
adsense account. They are all selling garbage. Anybody who talks
of shmoozing google is making it worse for all involved.

Good tips. I really agree with you. That is why one should always investigate when there are inconsistent clicks and CTR in an adsense account. There are times you may not have committed the click fraud. If your adsense CTR is generally 2% and you suddenly see 80% from 15,000 impressions, then something somewhere is wrong. Take action immediately by informing Google or else your account will be banned.

That is the problem. Google believes that they are making the best decision in banning an account. Of course, you might not have been responsible for the click fraud but Google wants to protect the advertisers as well. We all run adwords ads and we would not be happy to just be spending money on adwords ads that are not converting.

They do not ban people for just getting click bombed. If this were true, we
would click bomb people to oblivion. True, the smaller visitor total, the
more it looks bad. Maybe. But click bombing is normal occurrence.
It is up to you, really, to do what it takes. Keep track of your stats.

If your site is attracting click bombers in a high percentage of your
overall visitors, then they have every right to suspend you. Just
watch the kind of visitors you attract. That is within your power.

If you get 1,000 visitors a day, and 1 person click bombs, you won't
get banned. You attract 20 visitors, and 10 click bomb, you are
          the problem. Not google.

Google (the man behind the curtain) knows many sites get click bombed.
There are internal ways of handling this. You may not even know it when it
          happens.

Why would you take google to court? You agreed to the rules.

Sure they do. But they ignore their request to get their account back. In fact, some people state that Google never responds.

Yes, they have a way of handling suspected click fraud. But it's not 100% and some people get their account closed.

Their TOS states nothing of click bombing unless they consider it the same as click fraud. But, click fraud is considered something you did to get fraudulent clicks and not something you have no control over.

If you didn't break the rules, you have every right to take them to court.

People seem to take it so personal when Google disables them because of a click-bomb. Ultimately it's not personal at all.

In many cases, they know the publisher did not do anything wrong, but in order to protect their advertisers, they've got to do it.

If you had good paying customers and someone else was inadvertently putting them at risk, wouldn't you do the same thing?

My understanding is that the advertiser gets a refund. Blaming the publisher seems a bit unfair.

This is the reason to have a "Plan B". Plan B should be to make sites around physical products, and not just Adsense. If you do this and you get banned by Google, you at least have something to fall back on, eBay, Amazon, etc. You don't have to put physical products for sale on your site when you have Adsense, but having the option to switch over will keep you from having a site with no way to generate income.

Well Google Adsense get banned mostly more clicking and Google is so genius and watch everything. When you sign into your Google Adsense account you get to see all your Adsense activity. “Today’s Earnings” can be seen on the Reports tab. There can be alterations in this amount depending upon the charges against invalid clicks or fees.Looking at the breakdown of your earnings you can see, Adsense for Content is listed first. This is regarding targeted ads displayed on the pages containing related contents. Number of page impressions will be listed in its first column. A page impression is more than just a page view. You can refer to Google Adsense support to find out more about it. Now select Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.Number of clicks is the next item. That means number of times your ads were clicked on.

AdSense is the worst to try to get black hat with, its not like CPC where you're getting $10 for a fradulent lead and they have very good click fraud detection.

Over many years working online, across just about every business model, one thing I've learned - Google is a smart animal. Very smart.

They don't necessarily have the same objectives and concerns that some of us do. Like those silly arguments "Google would never do xxxxx, think of how much money they would lose" - or "Google would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did xxxxx"

Google is one of the largest, most successful companies ever created. They aren't perfect, but they are very good building their businesses and their brand, and in making decisions in support of long-term goals and objectives.

  • One thing is that those who do black hat with adsense know that it is for a short time. That is why they always want to make as many thousands of dollars as possible before Google finds out.

Sometimes Google is not as perfect as we think. Sometimes the black hat tactics succeed for a long time than expected, making thousands of dollars for months and even years. Everything depends on the tactic and the skill of the black hatter to cover his tracks.
