One way link building DO work

A few months a go i started to succeed big time with Google, and my website started to show on Google first result page for some important terms.

Now i also have some sub-pages ranked very high even the first result on Google, and google is my top traffic source.

Some of my friends did not beleive that it was a result of one way link building, natuaral and from rich text only backlinks (no forum sig, no blogging comments, no videos, and without any link exchange at all) and by the way I will never buy links.

So they wanted to test me, and they asked me to put a page on a free social media space. and use the same strategies and tools to make it rank also on Google first page.

So i built a lens about "One Way Link Building" on squidoo and promote it exactly using the same strategies and tools i explained on the page itself.

and now my page is on Google first page for the term "One Way Link Building" and it's going higher.

And I am sure i will reach the first Google Place soon. and you can see that it's a hard Term to compete with.

So one way link building can get you to Google first place.

      Article marketing is my best link building strategy

      you will see that my main strategy is article marketing, but it must be mass article marketing. so i do not waste time on blog comments and link exchange....

    Building backlinks is one of the most important parts of seo in my opinion. Even the best content without backlinks can not get enough traffic.

    For those who rank poorly, off-page SEO (i.e. link building) is almost always the "missing link". Links are probably the most important single thing that you can do for a site to improve its SEO. You can get away with on-page and on-site SEO for keyword phrases that have very little or no competition. But for keyword phrases that are even moderately competitive, back links are required.

      Great OP! I just couldn't agree more and well done on your first page success.

      I will see that lens in number one spot in no time!

      Another important point mentioned is that link building should be 90% of your SEO strategy, absolutely correct. I analysis peoples websites every day and time after time I find that everything is in place to rank onpage but the backlinks are the "missing link" so to speak (thanks Social-Media-Marketing)

      Reciprical links are not as helpful as one-way links, also buying links can get pricey when you are going for a keyword that is anything other than low-competition.

    I'm doing one way backlinking ever since and it's proven very effective. Link wheeling is far more effective but it consumes so much time and effort. I'd rather opt for one=way backlinking since it produces good SEO outcome in a fast and easy manner.

    I've often agreed with link building but I also believe that you need the content as well for the links to point at.

    Am i correct in thinking that you recommend article writing over and above anything else?

      Article marketing is extremely effective, I think this is one of the best SEO methods to use.

      By gaining hundreds of topic-related, contextual links you should see huge improvements in rankings.

        I know, Article marketing not only gives backlinks but also pretty immediate traffic. I've got tons of different articles all over the internet, including many of the high PR article directories. I was just wondering whether it was recommended to concentrate on article marketing more than anything else - based on the Squidoo lens suggestions.

      If we do not have the content, we do not need the links, after all we want people to visit the page and read the content.

      In my experience, you should definitely focus a majority of your link building on article marketing, as it will always be regarded highly by the SERPs, the advantage of this is if you write really good articles, many sites use those articles on their own sites and retain your resource box (with your link) so the potential is huge if you do this often enough. Not to mention the direct traffic can be good too.

      I usually write a high quality unique article, spend a lot of time thoroughly spinning it so that it still makes perfect sense. Then submit to multiple directories, each time checking that the article is unique in Copyscape(free online copyright site).

      I never spam to too many directories, I'd rather repeat the process again from the start to really get some unique content going.

      As for the ratio of article marketing vs other link building methods, check out my link building page (SEOJuice.net), I offer a service to build links there but more importantly I give away the formula I use to build links for my clients. This seems to be very successful for me.

      Submitting to search engines is sooo 1999. I suspect the issue might be that you need to build more backlinks or even research some keywords that you can rank for. I also do a free SEO analysis on my SEOJuice site so check that out if you want my guys to analyse your website.
