What is this in the SERP list?

When I followed my referral link, I see myself in the G list in the number four spot. I saw a star by my site and have no idea what that is. Can anyone tell me what that star is all about?

See the listing here, unless it moves out by the time you see this. Number four spot, under the 'News For..." item:

      Not sure I understand 'did I rank on my own news site?'

      Yes I did get my site up and running. I did get my site approved by GN almost a month ago.

      This is the most fun I have had in a long time.

    You really didn't know that the start by EVERY search result is for customizing your search results...?!?! Just like bookmarking a site in FireFox... the star in the search bar...

    Are you sure this isn't a low blow to rub in your SERP ranking for this term?!

      I just realized what you said. As a friend of mine said when I was talking to him about finally being able to make it to a high position in G SERP. That is no big deal. He has lots of number one listings in G, it doesn't mean squat.

      No I didn't know about it, that is why I came here and asked. There are hundreds of number one listings across the internet. I just have a very few. There are lots of folks that have way more than I do. And in a day or two, I probably won't have many any way.

      I had not noticed that star before, so that is why I asked. I am pretty much new at all of this. I have not had any success at IM until lately. Now I am having all new question that I had no idea of before.

        Relax! I was being facetious! Good job ranking for that. Don't say your top SERP sites are going to drop!! The hard work is done... You're there! Maintaining is easy... but you still have to maintain.
