Calling All Article Marketing People: Why Does This Article Rank So Highly?!

I have a confession to make. I have written over 400 articles at EZA (wrote them all myself) on various topics with proper keyword research, making sure targeted keywords are in title and so on. I even tried to include major keywords in front of the title like this

Life Insurance - How To Save Your Home Now

Other times, I write without bothering much about keyword research. Pretty much written them for the backlinking juice.

Total views (for 400+ articles): 25,000+ views

So I never bothered about people who have been actively trying to rank their EZA article. Even thought that was pointless. But not today folks.

This particular article opened my eyes...

In the SERP, there are few major sites targeting "cell phone lookup" keyword as well, with the keyword in their domain and all. Competition is tough.

I am really dumbfounded by this finding. Why the heck does this EZA article get ranked so highly?

Article Ranking
I then ran Rank Tracker (SEO Power Suite) and found it also ranked (top 5, mostly number 1 and 2) for as many as 20 high traffic keywords (oh... these 20 keywords are not longtail my friend!)

Article Backlinks
SEOQuake doesn't tell me anything. So I checked it in SEOSpyglass. It shows me 7 links, but these 7 links are all missing or does not exist anymore. So no backlinks to this article whatsoever?

Weird thing is this article has PR0!

Is this super LSI at work?
Is this unique content?
Is this EZA domain authority?
